"I usually make beads with someone in mind. I actually prefer making beads and jewelry when I know it's for someone in particular because I like to personalize the piece. If someone chooses me to make them something, it will be in my style but tailored to fit a favorite color or occasion. Typically I use different colored glass and inclusions such as silver, copper, gold or enamels to create organically inspired focal beads. Then I make them into unique pieces of art to wear, sometimes using vintage beads or stones to complement the glass."

Custom Glass Beads and Jewelry Design

If have you an idea, or are inspired by anything you see on my site, I’d love to create something for you. I can make pieces in custom lengths or colors, matching sets, or gifts for wedding parties and special events. Please email me and I can create something unique for you or someone you love.

Recent Custom Projects:

I created a series of beaded flowers for the wedding of my friends, Erin and Mark. The series included beaded corsages for their mothers, jewelry for the maid of honor and Erin's headpiece. I hear the headpiece was quite sparkly in the church - I used Swarowski crystals with a few blue ones, for her "Something Blue". If I can get a picture from the wedding, I'll post it here.

Host a Bead and Wine Party!

If you live in the Boston area, I can help you organize a "Bead and Wine" party at your house. You pick the date and time, make out a guest list and I'll make custom invitations for you to mail to your guests. I'll bring jewelry and beads and your friends can have fun picking out new jewelry to buy. It's a great activity for a party. Email me for more information.
